About the Role
Sage Grey Finance is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the company's Commercial Paper programme and other capital market transactions including programme development, investor mobilisation, transaction structuring, stakeholder engagement, issuance execution, refinancing, and post-issuance management. The role serves as a senior representative in engagements with institutional investors, DFIs, pension funds, insurance companies, banks, asset managers, and government institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, and management of the Commercial Paper program
- Develop issuance strategy and calendar; manage relationships with Issuing Houses, Arrangers, Trustees, and other transaction advisers
- Lead preparation of Program/Information Memoranda, Term Sheets, and investor materials
- Lead investor mobilization, roadshows, and subscription efforts for CP issuances
- Oversee subscription, allotment, settlement, and closing processes
- Monitor CP maturities and develop refinancing/rollover strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, PFAs, insurance companies, banks, DFIs, and government institutions
- Lead capital mobilization from local and international sources; structure funding solutions (debt, equity, structured credit, blended finance)
- Engage DFIs (BOI, DBN, AfDB, IFC, EIB, IsDB) and government institutions on funding opportunities
- Lead development and capitalization of Sage Grey-sponsored investment funds
- Provide market intelligence and strategic funding recommendations to management
- Lead and manage the Corporate Funds & Capital Markets team
- Develop annual strategy and business plan for the unit; identify new funding sources and partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 5–8 years' relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, treasury, capital markets, fund management, or institutional funding
- Demonstrable experience in Commercial Paper, debt capital markets, or structured finance
- Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Demonstrable transaction origination and execution experience
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian capital markets and financial services ecosystem
- Experience engaging institutional investors, banks, DFIs, and transaction advisers
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and negotiation skills
