This role is suited for a cybersecurity professional who is operationally focused, takes initiative, and is comfortable working with a high degree of independence in a dynamic, regional environment.
Responsibilities:
Take direct ownership of cybersecurity incident handling (CSIRT) activities — including detection, investigation, containment, remediation and post-incident reviews.
Conduct security monitoring, log analysis and threat investigation across SIEM, EDR and XDR platforms, identifying and responding to threats in a timely and decisive manner.
Manage and maintain security technologies including endpoint protection, SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, PAM and network security tools — including configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
Lead cybersecurity projects end-to-end, covering planning, stakeholder coordination, implementation, testing and post-go-live support across SATO Group Companies.
Support cybersecurity governance, risk assessments, compliance activities (ISO/NIST/CIS) and security awareness programmes in close collaboration with the Cybersecurity Manager and regional stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience in a corporate or commercial environment, with at least two full project management lifecycle experiences.
Demonstrated experience in managing cybersecurity incidents end-to-end, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Good working knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, PAM and vulnerability management tools, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot them independently.
Able to exercise sound security judgement and work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across teams, time zones and cultures in a regional setting.
Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls.
Self-driven and proactive — able to identify risks early and take appropriate action without being prompted.
