Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about people and numbers. This individual will play a crucial role of advisor to the CFO and senior management team, driving the financial planning and analysis function of the organization. The ideal candidate also will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within a manufacturing and SaaS context. Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower plants of all sizes to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime. Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Onsite Requirements: Onsite, remote flexibility as needed
Travel: Minimal travel may be required on an as-needed basis.

Job Description
This position will give you the opportunity to:
- Act as a crucial advisor to the CFO and senior management team, driving the financial planning and analysis function of the company
- Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to guide decision-making
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all departments
- Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, comparing actual results with forecasts, and investigating variances to understand underlying business drivers
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while capitalizing on opportunities
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to the CFO, senior management, and non-finance stakeholders
- Collaborate with and help mentor the accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Work closely with the accounting team to accomplish shared goals.
- Translate complex questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions
- Conduct analysis around product profitability, pricing, ROI of investments
- Maintain per subscriber and unit economics of company revenue streams
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and metrics
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-5+ years’ experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Experience in a manufacturing/SaaS industry highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Senior level proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
- Proficiency in NetSuite or related ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
