We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance & Accounting department as a Senior Analyst of FP&A. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about people and numbers. This individual will play a crucial role of advisor to the CFO and executive team, driving the financial planning and analysis, budgeting and financial modeling function of the organization. The ideal candidate also will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within a manufacturing and SaaS context. Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Onsite Requirements: Onsite, remote flexibility as needed

Travel: Minimal travel may be required on an as-needed basis.

Job Description

This position will give you the opportunity to:

  • Act as a crucial advisor to the CFO and senior management team, driving the financial planning and analysis function of the company
  • Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to guide decision-making
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all departments
  • Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, comparing actual results with forecasts, and investigating variances to understand underlying business drivers
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while capitalizing on opportunities
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to the CFO, senior management, and non-finance stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and help mentor the Accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to accomplish shared goals.
  • Translate complex questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions
  • Conduct analysis around product profitability, pricing, ROI of investments
  • Maintain per subscriber and unit economics of company revenue streams
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and metrics
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives
