Senior Analyst, Grant Management

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive support to LUMA across all phases of grant management, with a specialized focus on validating eligible costs and optimizing documentation processes to ensure the accurate and timely submission of reimbursement requests.

Job Description:

  • Monitors FEMA and federal grant policies and interprets program updates to ensure accurate alignment with grant requirements.

  • Reviews documentation and assesses eligibility by validating procurement records, invoices, supporting documents, and full reimbursement packages against approved Project Worksheet scopes.

  • Coordinates with stakeholders and provides responses to information requests by compiling required records and resolving discrepancies.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams as needed to support process improvement initiatives; ensure alignment with organizational objectives and contribute to the development of efficient, streamlined workflows that enhance overall business performance.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

Experience

  • 4 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, business strategic support (interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, forecast, statistical results) and other analytical functions.

  • Experience using business systems or analytic platforms.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 2 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.

  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.
