Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning and Strategy
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning and Strategy plays a pivotal role in driving seller growth and marketplace engagement across Walmart's international e-commerce ecosystem. This position is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of two core Go-to-Market programs: Livestream marketing and Seller Operations. Working at the intersection of data, content, and commerce, the Senior Analyst develops and implements strategic frameworks that accelerate seller conversion, deepen engagement through live commerce, and continuously improve operational efficiency through technology enabled tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, seller operations, e-commerce marketing, or a related function.
Demonstrated experience planning and executing livestream or webinar marketing programs, including content strategy, promotion, and post-event analysis.
Hands-on experience with CRM or SCRM platforms (e.g., WeCom, Salesforce, etc.), including workflow setup and audience segmentation.
Strong data analysis skills; ability to build dashboards, interpret performance metrics, and translate data into actionable strategies.
Proven track record managing vendor or outsourced teams, including KPI design, SOP development, and performance coaching.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in marketplace or platform marketing within a major e-commerce ecosystem (e.g., Walmart, Tmall, JD, TikTok Shop, Amazon).
Familiarity with tech-driven marketing tools, automated campaign management platforms, or chatbot/FAQ automation solutions.
Experience with paid media channels (e.g., display, social, in-app promotion) used for livestream or content preheating.
Knowledge of seller development lifecycle, including prospecting, onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies.
Experience with content production workflows including graphic design coordination, script writing, and creative briefing.
Exposure to live commerce platforms and best practices in interactive content design (e.g., TikTok Live, Taobao Live, WeChat Channels).
Strong storytelling and presentation skills; comfortable presenting insights to senior leadership.

1. SDR Program Strategy & Operations
Seller Operations Management: Design and execute a tiered seller engagement framework, including 1v1 outreach, communication scripts, and personalized follow-up sequences to maximize seller conversion and retention.
Outsourced SDR Team Leadership: Own end-to-end management of the outsourced SDR team — including KPI setting, performance tracking, complex inquiry training, and SOP development for seller tagging and campaign operations.
SCRM & CRM Product Operations: Drive WeCom SCRM system operations, including automated tagging configurations, tiered seller segmentation, and workflow automation to scale seller engagement efficiently.
Promotional Content Planning: Manage the daily planning and execution of promotional content, including campaign scheduling, content recreation, and real-time performance monitoring across seller touchpoints.
Seller Onboarding & Handover: Oversee seller onboarding pipelines, proactively resolve onboarding exceptions, and manage the smooth handover of qualified sellers to relevant business teams.
Dashboard & Performance Management: Maintain and evolve operational dashboards; lead periodic reviews and drive data-backed optimizations to SDR program performance.
2. Livestream Marketing Planning & Execution
Livestream Schedule & Theme Design: Build and own the livestream content calendar, designing thematic plans for both brand-awareness and acquisition-focused live sessions; optimize scheduling cadence to maximize viewership and conversion.
Livestream Preheating & Traffic Growth: Develop and implement multi-channel preheating strategies — leveraging paid media, organic social, WeCom community outreach, and in-app traffic tools — to maximize live room exposure and audience engagement ahead of each session.
Livestream Content Optimization: Partner with cross teams to customize presenter scripts, interactive segments, and real-time engagement mechanics aligned with each live theme.
Performance Review & Continuous Optimization: Lead post-live performance reviews: analyze viewership, engagement, conversion, and GMV metrics; distill actionable insights and implement iterative improvements to content, timing, and promotion strategies.
Material Production & Community Operations: Coordinate end-to-end production of livestream materials including graphics, promotional assets, and product showcases; oversee community operations before, during, and after each live event.
Live Streaming Execution Support: Support on-site livestream execution, ensuring seamless technical and operational delivery for scheduled live broadcasts.
Process Optimization: Develop and maintain standardized SOPs; continuously audit processes and introduce technology-driven improvements to reduce manual workload and increase throughput.
3. Analytics, Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain regular performance reporting cadences; present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with seller operations, product, data, and content teams to align GTM strategies, share best practices, and drive cohesive campaign execution.
Market Intelligence: Track industry trends in live commerce, social commerce, and CRM technology to inform strategy evolution and maintain competitive positioning.
