Senior Analyst, Operations
Summary
Senior Analyst designs and improves logistics workflows using Blue Yonder (WMS/TMS), documents SOPs, and trains teams to ensure smooth operations and system adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Expertise & Knowledge Building
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Blue Yonder (e.g., WMS, TMS, or relevant modules)
- and its functionalities
- Understand system workflows, configurations, and dependencies
- Stay updated on system enhancements, upgrades, and best practices
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Blue Yonder within the organization
2. Process Design & Documentation
- Translate system capabilities into clear, standardized operational processes
- Design end-to-end workflows aligned with business requirements
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and job aids
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and propose improvements
- Ensure processes are scalable, compliant, and aligned with operational goals
3. Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver training programs for operators and relevant stakeholders
- Create training materials such as manuals, guides, videos, and simulations
- Conduct onboarding training for new hires and refresher sessions for existing staff
- Ensure operators understand “what to do,” “how to do it,” and “why it matters”
- Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, observations, and feedback
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with operations, IT, and project teams to ensure alignment
- Act as a liaison between system implementation teams and end users
- Support change management initiatives during system rollouts or process changes
- Gather user feedback and continuously refine processes and training content
5. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide support to operators in resolving system or process-related issues
- Monitor adherence to processes and identify training gaps
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process compliance and training effectiveness
