Why this job's a big deal:
The Senior Analyst, OTC, A/R & A/P Operations will support changes related to ERP Implementation, OTC process improvements, and analyze break/fix solutions on the Order to Cash system. This role will prepare business test cases and perform user acceptance testing and support data migration across financial platforms. The Sr. Analyst will perform root cause analysis and resolution of process issues that impact the AR and AP Operations. The Analyst will partner with Fintech, GL, RevOps , FinOps and Compliance to ensure that coordinated approaches are provided. The role also requires hands-on engagement with financial systems, payment reconciliation platforms, and enterprise data pipelines.
Within Priceline, this role requires a strong understanding of the order to cash lifecycle, financial transaction management, and enterprise-grade backend systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring transactional excellence, effective cash management and mitigating credit risks.The role further encompasses business analysis, functional consulting, and the development of strategic recommendations to drive continuous process improvement.
In this role you will get to:
• Lead moderate-size projects applying business knowledge, system expertise, decision-making, and project management skills; attend project status and system change reviews for requirements gathering, scope definition, and delivery oversight.
• Serve as SME for Priceline's OTC processes (invoicing/billing, cash application, A/R & A/P reconciliation, intercompany AR, collections), answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing status updates to business partners and IT teams; provide functional expertise across OTC sub-lines to facilitate appropriate solution design.
• Collaborate with Fintech, GL, RevOps, FinOps, and Compliance to develop end-to-end strategic solutions and root cause analysis; maintain balance between business needs and IT standards to guide well-informed decisions, change management, and partner alignment.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize financial and operational data to surface patterns, risks, and opportunities; apply business insights to formulate strategic recommendations and articulate clear value propositions through reports and senior stakeholder presentations.
• Lead business requirement gathering, user acceptance testing, and regression testing for new enhancements and production releases; translate business requirements into technical service designs and integration contracts.
• Support and coordinate data migration efforts ensuring data integrity and business continuity; partner with Fintech engineering on financial transaction management and AR/AP lifecycle processing; provide go-live support to ensure solutions perform as expected.
• Develop and maintain business process flows within the OTC platform; create analysis templates, consulting methodologies, and process improvement frameworks for OTC initiatives.
Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering with experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with a strong mix of financial domain knowledge and technical implementation skills in a high transaction volume environment.
Strong SQL knowledge; experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases including data migration, validation, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Services and BigQuery is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Java financial applications— including transaction ingestion, validation, reconciliation.
• Validated experience in testing methodology — unit testing, UAT coordination, and QA regression support.
• Sound understanding of the order to cash lifecycle, AR/AP processes, and financial compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business/industry trends, synthesize data, and develop actionable strategic recommendations and management-ready presentations.
• Experience creating functional designs, business process documentation.
• Proven ability to conduct impact analysis, gap assessments, and prototype-based solution validation for business process and system changes.
• Problem solver; solution-driven individual who is highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly from end-user to senior management; strong written and verbal communication skills.
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000
