- Minimum 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced SQL expertise (non-negotiable)
- Advanced Python experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong automation experience using:
- SQL
- Python
- Power Automate
- Expert-level process management and process optimisation capability
- Must be based in Gauteng
- Experience leading a team
Data Engineering and Analytics
- Design and develop scalable analytical data models
- Build and optimise data transformation processes
- Develop reusable and structured datasets for analytics and BI reporting
- Implement robust data quality and governance controls
- Automate workflows and analytical processes
- Improve data processing efficiency and scalability
- Optimise SQL queries and data pipelines for performance
- Translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Support reporting, analytics, and advanced data initiatives
- Deliver reliable and high-performance analytical datasets
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
- Maintain and improve analytical systems and workflows
- Ensure adherence to best-practice engineering standards
- Provide acting Team Lead support where required
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Mentor and support junior team members where applicable
