Permanent role - up to £65k base + benefits
Oxford | Hybrid (2 days onsite)
The Role
I'm partnering with an innovative organisation looking to hire a Senior Analytics Engineer to help develop and optimise its cloud-based data platform. Reporting into the Head of Data , you'll be responsible for building scalable data solutions, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, enhancing enterprise reporting, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust analytics across the business.
Requirements:
- Strong SQL experience (Essential)
- Microsoft Fabric experience (Essential)
- Azure SQL Server
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse
- ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Python
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
- Git
- Power BI or similar BI tools
- Experience designing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms
Nice to have and will make you stand out:
- Data modelling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
- NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
- C#
- Data governance and GDPR knowledge
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Legacy system migration experience
- Experience working with offshore teams
