Senior Analytics Engineer

Summary

Build and optimize SQL-based data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud technologies for analytics and reporting.

Salary: £76,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial experience with SQL, including advanced query writing and optimisation
  • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies
  • Experience developing and maintaining ELT pipelines
  • Experience with data migration projects
  • Experience with data cleansing and transformation processes
  • Experience working with legacy data models
  • Experience with Power BI reporting
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain ELT pipelines across the Azure ecosystem
  • Develop solutions using SQL, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
  • Support data migration and modernisation projects
  • Improve data quality, processing efficiency and reliability
  • Work with legacy data models and integrate new solutions
  • Develop and support Power BI reporting capabilities
  • Perform data cleansing and transformation using notebooks within ADF
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Acquisition and Analytics teams
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions
  • Deliver solutions within Agile and Scrum environments
