Our client is delivering an enterprise AI platform that combines business reporting with enterprise knowledge to provide trusted, source-backed answers to commercial teams. They are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to build the analytical foundation powering this solution.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable analytics solutions within Snowflake.
- Build trusted semantic models supporting AI-powered natural language querying.
- Develop production ELT pipelines and curated analytical datasets.
- Configure and optimise Snowflake Cortex Analyst for business reporting use cases.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to integrate structured reporting data into enterprise AI applications.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance and validation.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and analytical requirements.
- Optimise data models and platform performance for production workloads.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
- Experience implementing Snowflake Cortex Analyst and semantic models.
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience building production data pipelines, analytical models and KPI frameworks.
- Knowledge of dimensional modelling, data validation and governance.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
