The Senior Android Application Developer will lead the development and maintenance of consumer-facing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Job Summary (List Format):

- Develop, scale, and maintain high-quality consumer-facing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Build modern Android UI and contribute to the migration from XML-based UI to Compose.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Backend, iOS, QA, Product, and Design teams.
- Implement and maintain robust automated testing (JUnit, Espresso, unit/UI testing) to ensure application quality.
- Work within large, modular Android codebases and utilize reactive programming (RxJava or similar).
- Focus on product-oriented development, including experimentation, analytics, and iterative improvement.
- Optimize application performance through profiling and code enhancements.
- Integrate and manage monetisation features such as subscriptions, credits systems, and in-app purchases.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and delivery speed.
- Participate in A/B testing, evaluate experiment results, and optimize the user experience.
- Own technical and product initiatives from concept to production support.
- Collaborate in code reviews and mentor team members to uphold code quality.
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
- Work with schema-driven APIs (Protobuf/gRPC) and manage client-side implementation.
- Apply strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, multithreading) in daily tasks.
- (Nice to have) Experience with CI/CD, advanced architectures (Appyx, RIBs), Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Gradle, socket networking, and analytics frameworks.
