Senior Android Developer – Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Streaming

• Provide technical design for new Android features
• Develop and maintain Android features
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Develop user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Contribute to application modularization
• Integrate APIs and backend services
• Develop and enhance streaming- and player-related features
• Optimize performance and stability
• Develop and maintain automated tests

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant Android development experience
• Excellent command of Kotlin
• Recent and significant experience with Jetpack Compose
• Clean Architecture
• MVVM
• Coroutines
• Strong knowledge of modern Android architecture principles
• Hands-on experience with unit testing
• Git and code review practices
• Experience with Android applications in production
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working with the Agile Scrum methodology
• Significant experience with a high-traffic, production B2C application is particularly desirable
• Kotlin Multiplatform, Flow / StateFlow, Hilt or Koin, Room, modular architecture, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent, Design Systems, UI testing, monitoring and performance optimization, high-traffic B2C experience, streaming features, player development or integration, and cache management and offline functionality are valued or preferred
• Knowledge of digital accessibility, Android application modernization, mentoring, or contributions to communities of practice would be considered an asset
