We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and improving our mobile application. It is a digital platform designed to help farmers and agricultural companies improve profitability and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the Android application for the Agriculture AI Solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, back-end developers, and designers, to define and deliver new features.
- Optimize the mobile app for performance, scalability, and usability, ensuring a seamless user experience for a global audience.
- Integrate and utilize advanced technologies like Mapbox GL, WatermelonDB, and React Native libraries.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Android development with a strong focus on building scalable and high-performance mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin.
- Knowledge of Android Jetpack, MVVM architecture, and other modern Android development tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and back-end integration.
- Experience with offline-first applications and database management (e.g., SQLite, Room).
- Proficiency in debugging, testing, and optimizing mobile apps for different screen sizes and devices.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in Java.
- Experience with Map APIs.
- Experience with React Native and libraries such as Mapbox GL, WatermelonDB, and React-Native-Bottom-Sheet.
