Senior Android Developer

About the project

We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer to join a long-term project for one of our clients in the insurance sector. You’ll be working on the development and enhancement of a modern mobile application used by thousands of customers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality digital services.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications

  • Build new features and improve existing functionalities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers

  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application stability

  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in Android development

  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose

  • Solid understanding of Android SDK and Android architecture components

  • Experience with MVVM architecture

  • Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming

  • Experience with REST APIs

  • Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt or Dagger)

  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing

  • Good understanding of Git and CI/CD practices

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

  • English at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience in the insurance, banking, or fintech sector

  • Knowledge of Clean Architecture

  • Experience with Firebase

  • Familiarity with GraphQL

  • Experience publishing applications to Google Play

  • Knowledge of accessibility and mobile security best practices
