You are part of an international, multicultural development team and jointly responsible for the further development of our platform
You take technical ownership from conception through implementation, testing, release, and operation in production
You design pragmatic, scalable, and maintainable solutions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Android platform
You actively participate in technical discussions and challenge existing solutions constructively, balancing product needs, technical quality, security and reliability
You enable your teammates through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, pair programming, mentoring, and constructive feedback
You perform thoughtful code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, testing, security, and maintainability
You support us in analyzing complex problems in the context of L3 support, in handling incidents
You continuously improve our engineering practices, development processes, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and overall developer experience
You help evolve our testing strategy, with a strong focus on reliable automated UI and integration testing
You are constantly working on the continuous improvement of our platform
Your Profile:
You have a degree in computer science (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on software engineering or a comparable education
You have profound, multi-year practical and project experience in software engineering and Mobile App development in a business and technically complex environment
You have strong hands-on experience with modern Android development and are comfortable taking ownership of technically challenging problems
You have profound experience in UI test automation
You have experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and generated or contract-based API clients
You have a strong understanding of Gradle and Android build systems, dependency management, and modularization
You have a strong interest in the Android ecosystem and actively keep up with current trends, architecture approaches, tooling, and platform changes
You raise the technical level of the people around you without relying on formal authority
You are comfortable challenging assumptions and making well-reasoned technical trade-offs
You describe yourself as an independent and reliable team player
You enjoy learning and always adapting to new challenges
You can easily express yourself in English (orally and in writing)
