Senior Android Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a long-term mobile product in the European e-commerce and e-health domain.
You will take ownership of key technical areas of a large production Android application and help shape its architecture, scalability, performance, and future development.

What you will do
Design and develop scalable Android solutions using modern architecture
Contribute to architectural decisions and application modularization
Build responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
Improve code quality, performance, stability, and maintainability
Develop and maintain unit and UI tests
Work with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes
Improve monitoring, logging, and performance tracking
Document technical decisions and development processes
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other mobile developers

Required experience
Strong commercial Android development experience
Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK
Production experience with Jetpack Compose
Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and modularization
Experience with Coroutines and Flow
Experience with dependency injection using Hilt or Dagger
Experience integrating REST APIs with Retrofit and OkHttp
Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and MockK, or similar testing tools
Understanding of CI/CD and Android release workflows
Ability to independently own complex technical tasks
Confident spoken and written English
