Senior Android Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance mobile banking applications. In this role, you will work with modern Android technologies, contribute to application architecture, optimize performance, and help maintain high standards of code quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable application architecture
• Build modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose
• Integrate backend services through REST APIs
• Implement local data storage, caching, and secure data handling
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and stability issues
• Write and maintain unit, UI, integration, and instrumentation tests
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentor junior and middle-level engineers and share technical expertise

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Solid understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Practical experience with dependency injection frameworks, particularly Dagger and Hilt
• Experience with Room, SQLite, and REST APIs
• Good understanding of the Android lifecycle, Activities, Fragments, Services, and lifecycle-aware components
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, MockK or Mockito, Espresso, and Robolectric
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI
• Familiarity with Android Profiler, LeakCanary, and performance optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality
• Experience in banking or FinTech projects will be considered an advantage
