Due to an increased demand within our business, SYPAQ are seeking Senior Angular Developers for multiple opportunities with one of the largest Federal Government Department. The opportunities offer a start in January 2027 and offer a 12 months contract plus 24 months of potential extensions. The opportunities are open in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW and SA.
Overview:
Our Client are at the frontline of government service delivery, supporting millions of Australians, and is front and centre of a vision to be a world leader in government service delivery. Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. Development Experts lead software development projects and provide technical leadership to their teams. They manage software planning, development, and construction activities, and evaluate and resolve complex issues within the development and production environments. Development experts are responsible for the quality and functionality of software, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, and methods for system development.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and create software and technical designs for the realisation of highly complex development solutions, provide specialist technical advice on software development and maintenance.
Lead analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.
Review and undertake high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
Identify, investigate and resolve Angular/Node.js related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide technical advice and mentoring to junior developers.
Participate in system upgrades, patching and performance testing.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Develop and deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility.
Perform cost analysis activities as required.

Monitor the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies. Assesses and documents the impacts, threats and opportunities to the organisation
Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development. Plans and drives software construction activities.
Provide advice, guidance and expertise to promote adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards
Takes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of configuration development and deployment. Plans and drives software configuration activities
Technical Skills: Node.js, Typescript, Angular
