Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Application Developer with strong backend development experience and hands-on experience building and integrating AI-powered solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and delivering scalable and sustainable software solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI, backend development, automation, and software quality.

You will be part of the Engineering team, working on products and technologies that are core to the organization.

• Internal AI integration platforms
• Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions
• Business process automation
• Backend applications and API integrations
• AI-assisted testing and automation

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the engineering, development, and maintenance of our products.
• Design and develop scalable backend solutions and APIs.
• Build and integrate AI-powered solutions using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, AI agents, and related technologies.
• Work with the Project Manager to provide estimates for technical activities.
• Analyze requirements and produce documentation for architectural recommendations, systems, APIs, integrations, and code-level design.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other technical teams.
• Perform code reviews to ensure development standards, quality, and security.
• Implement development best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and test automation.
• Explore opportunities to use AI to improve and automate software testing processes.
• Address day-to-day and long-term technical issues.
• Participate in R&D initiatives to evaluate new AI technologies, tools, and software solutions.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in web/software development.
• Strong hands-on backend development experience.
• Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM technologies, including RAG, embeddings, AI agents, MCP, and LLM APIs.
• Experience designing software architecture, including databases, components, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and Fargate.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API design.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and automated testing.
• Experience with development best practices, including code reviews and design patterns.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for planning, debugging, and coding.
• Familiarity with React.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Engineering mindset with attention to application performance, scalability, code quality, and debugging.
