Senior Application Developer (x1 Full Stack & AI / x1 Network Automation) | Bank

Salary: $7,333 – $11,000 per month

Location: Changi Business Park (near Expo MRT)
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable/convertible, subject to performance and headcount)
Salary Range: $7,000 to $11,000 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours (Role 2 includes 24/7 on-call support)

About the Roles

A leading bank in Singapore is hiring two experienced Application Developers for its Technology & Operations division. One role builds web applications for the bank’s access management platform, and the other builds automation and AI-powered tools for its network infrastructure team. Please read both and let us know which one fits you best when you apply.

Role 1: Full Stack Developer, Angular & Node.js (Access Management)

You’ll design and build web applications for the bank’s access management platform, from the front-end UI to back-end APIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop software solutions by studying user needs, system flows, data usage and work processes, following the software development lifecycle.

2. Assess requirements and proposed solutions to confirm they are feasible.

3. Design system specifications, standards and code, and deploy solutions.

4. Document solutions with clear code, comments, flowcharts, diagrams and technical documentation.

5. Analyse systems and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.

6. Collect, analyse and summarise development and service issues.

7. Coach and support other software engineers.

8. Keep up to date with new development tools and programming techniques.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in web development

• Strong skills in Angular and Node.js (Express), with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and Ant Design (ng-zorro) or similar UI frameworks, plus CSS pre-processors such as LESS or SASS

• Experience building RESTful APIs in Express, and working with SOAP, RESTful and AJAX calls

• Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling and cross-browser compatibility

• Proficient in SQL and ORM frameworks (such as Sequelize), preferably with MariaDB

• Experience with charting libraries such as D3.js or G2Plot

• Familiar with GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo and JIRA, and data formats such as JSON, CSV and XML

• Knowledge of Agile methodology

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills, with strong initiative and ownership

Role 2: AI & Network Automation Developer (Network Services)

You’ll help the network team automate provisioning and monitoring, and build web portals, dashboards and AI-powered solutions for network operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and deploy applications and automation solutions for network operations and infrastructure management, such as network provisioning and monitoring.

2. Build web applications, dashboards and self-service portals, including monitoring dashboards.

3. Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions.

4. Manage and maintain network monitoring systems and tools.

5. Integrate with system APIs, and code, test and troubleshoot programs.

6. Make sure solutions meet security, compliance, risk management and operational standards.

7. Maintain technical documentation, code quality and development best practices.

8. Provide BAU support, enhancements and troubleshooting for existing applications.

9. Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent

• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, UNIX scripting and SQL

• Familiar with web technologies such as ReactJS, HTML and CSS

• Able to develop in both Unix and Windows environments

• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems or network platforms

• Experience designing and building RAG, MCP, AI agents and LLM-powered applications

• Knowledge of AI frameworks, prompt engineering and vector databases

• Self-driven and able to work independently and in a team

• Willing to provide 24x7 on-call support
