Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers and the value chain in consumer electronics and data center sectors to define requirements and deliver design-phase solutions.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers for laminate materials in flex and rigid PCB applications, including troubleshooting and rapid response to technical issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the business team to assess new opportunities and identify emerging technology trends.
  • Partner with internal teams and external PCB fabricators to transition technologies from proof-of-concept to mass production.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local PCB manufacturing trends, regulations, and customer needs.
  • Support customer qualification processes and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Participate in new product development cycles by providing industrial trends and unmet needs from the field to R&D; may lead specific technical segments in larger R&D programs.
  • Suggest and create innovations, applying tested ideas or methods from other areas.
  • Solve complex problems independently; take a new perspective on existing solutions; exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Lead and/or contribute to multiple projects to develop solutions, drive business adoption of technology, and meet customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or above in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field.
  • 5–10 years’ work experience, preferably in rapid-paced consumer electronics or PCB manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
  • Demonstrated success working with international teams and strong collaboration skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of laminate materials, PCB design, and manufacturing processes (flex and rigid boards).
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies on fast time scales, and a team player able to work in multi-disciplinary, cross-geographic teams.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for team members and management on all aspects of program activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to make clear, persuasive, concise, and well-organized oral presentations.
