Senior Application Specialist (fix term)
In this role You will:
- Lead annual and periodic User Developed Application (UDA) assessments and certifications, ensuring compliance with bp controls and regulatory requirements
- Partner with participants, application owners and technical teams to identify, assess and remediate control gaps, reducing risk
- Manage application governance workflows, ensuring accurate records and timely reviews, approvals and recertifications
- Advise partners on governance requirements, driving compliance and effective risk remediation.
- Develop dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility of application risk, compliance and performance
- Support and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions to streamline processes and automate workflows
- Drive continuous improvement through process simplification, stronger controls and better data quality
- Maintain process documentation and operating procedures to support consistent service delivery
- Champion a culture of safety, security, compliance and operational excellence
What You will need to be successful:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of Visual Basic (VBA) and Python for process automation, data analysis and workflow improvement
- Experience supporting governance, controls, workflows or regulated business processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and partner management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Self-starter, comfortable managing multiple priorities and driving continuous improvement in regulated environments
Desirable criteria:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)Experience designing or supporting Power Platform-based workflow and automation solutions.
- Experience creating executive-level reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
- Understanding financial business processes, risk management or financial controls.
- Experience working with Azure-based data platforms and cloud technologies.
- Strong customer focus, ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally
- distributed organization
