◆Role Overview:

Our client is a leading international food ingredients company supporting food manufacturers across the APAC region with innovative ingredient solutions and technical expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, Sales, and Technical Services teams to develop new product applications, solve formulation challenges, and bring innovative concepts to market. ◆Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new food applications and formulations using a diverse portfolio of food ingredients.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, physicochemical analyses, and application studies to validate product performance.
• Troubleshoot formulation and application challenges, including conducting trials at customer sites when required.
• Create innovative product concepts and prototypes based on market trends, customer requirements, and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to deliver technical solutions that address customer needs.
• Present ingredient technologies and application solutions through customer presentations, seminars, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and innovation events.
• Support customer-driven innovation projects in partnership with the Technical Services team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of experimental methods, project activities, and technical findings.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and operated in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

◆Requirements:

[Must Have]

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in food applications or product development within food ingredients, bakery, processed foods, beverages, confectionery, ice cream, or related sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of food formulation and application development.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with sensory evaluation and analytical testing.

Soft Skill:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers through technical demonstrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Well-developed sensory evaluation capabilities and broad taste profile.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

[Good to Have]

• Experience supporting customer technical services or application development projects.
• Experience conducting customer trials or providing technical consultation.
• Proven track record of developing innovative food concepts aligned with market trends.
• Experience collaborating with commercial or Sales teams to deliver customer solutions.
