Our Information Technology team enables that mission by ensuring the Foundation's systems, data, and applications operate with the rigor and reliability our work demands. We are seeking a Senior Applications & Data Analyst who brings technical depth and a collaborative spirit to help us build a more connected, data-informed organization.

The Role

WHERE SYSTEMS MEET MISSION

The Senior Applications & Data Analyst serves as the primary owner of CFGA's enterprise application portfolio — including ERP, CRM, and cloud-hosted business systems — while ensuring data integrity, meaningful reporting, and seamless integrations across the Foundation. This role is both hands-on and strategic: equal parts systems administrator, data engineer, project lead, and trusted partner to Finance, Programs, and Grants Management.

The ideal candidate has navigated complex implementation cycles, can diagnose a broken workflow and redesign it, and understands that behind every data field is a person whose work depends on getting it right.

Key Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• ERP Administration & Implementation

• Lead or co-lead end-to-end ERP implementation and upgrade projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support

• Serve as the primary system administrator, managing user access, workflow configuration, and system integrity

• Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations to align ERP functionality with evolving business processes and reporting requirements

• Develop and maintain integration touchpoints between the ERP and downstream business systems

• CRM Administration & Implementation

• Administer and optimize the Foundation's CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, or equivalent), ensuring clean data, effective workflows, and strong user adoption

• Lead or co-lead CRM implementation or migration projects, including data migration planning, stakeholder engagement, and training programs

• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that support donor stewardship, grant management, and community engagement activities

• Application Support & Portfolio Management

• Provide Tier 2/3 support across the Foundation's software portfolio, troubleshooting complex issues and managing vendor escalations

• Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and data dictionaries

• Evaluate, recommend, and onboard new business applications aligned with organizational strategy

• Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements for key platforms

• Microsoft Azure & Cloud Infrastructure

• Administer Foundation systems hosted on Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, and related cloud services

• Support data pipeline and warehouse development using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or comparable tools

• Ensure data governance, security compliance, and disaster recovery protocols are current, tested, and documented

• Monitor Azure resource utilization and recommend cost optimization strategies aligned with the Foundation's budget

• Data Analysis & Reporting

• Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support executive decision-making and programmatic reporting

• Conduct data quality audits and implement remediation strategies across core systems

• Collaborate with program, finance, and grants management staff to surface data-driven insights

• Support annual audit and compliance reporting through accurate data extraction and reconciliation
