Senior Architect (BIM Software)
1. Role Overview
The Senior Architect will play a key role in leading architectural projects from concept to construction documentation. The role requires strong design thinking, BIM proficiency, and the ability to manage project coordination with internal teams and external consultants. The candidate will contribute to design excellence, technical detailing, and the successful delivery of projects.
2. Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Lead architectural design development for multiple projects.
Ensure projects move smoothly from concept to construction documentation.
Manage project timelines and deliverables in coordination with the Project Lead and Department Head.
Design Development
Develop strong conceptual and schematic design proposals.
Translate design ideas into detailed architectural documentation.
Maintain design quality and consistency throughout project stages.
BIM & Documentation
Develop and manage BIM models using ArchiCAD.
Produce detailed working drawings, construction drawings, and technical documentation.
Ensure all drawings follow studio standards and BIM workflows.
Coordination
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
Collaborate with interior design, visualization, and project management teams.
Review drawings to ensure interdisciplinary coordination.
Team Support & Mentoring
Guide junior architects and assistants in design development and documentation.
Review drawings and ensure technical accuracy and quality control.
Contribute to studio design discussions and design reviews.
Client & Site Coordination
Participate in client meetings and presentations.
Address client feedback and integrate revisions into project documentation.
Support site teams with technical clarifications and drawing updates.
Requirements
3. Skills & Competencies
Strong architectural design sensibility
Proficiency in ArchiCAD (BIM workflow preferred)
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Twin-motion, SketchUp, or visualization tools
Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple project deliverables
4. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
5–8 years of experience in architectural design and documentation
Experience working on residential, commercial, institutional, or hospitality projects
