This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of next-generation data and AI platforms across complex enterprise environments.

You’ll combine strong architecture expertise with hands-on data engineering capability, shaping modern cloud data solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP. The role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, defining future-state architecture and staying close to delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and delivering modern cloud-based data and AI architectures.
• Assessing existing environments and defining future-state data platforms.
• Leading technical design sessions and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Building modern lakehouse, warehouse, streaming and data engineering platforms.
• Evaluating architectural options, articulating trade-offs and driving technical decisions.
• Breaking complex solutions into clear engineering workstreams.
• Providing technical leadership across engineering teams.
• Remaining hands-on across architecture, engineering and solution design.
• Supporting solution shaping and technical scoping for new initiatives.

What we’re looking for You’ll bring broad data architecture experience together with deep expertise in modern data engineering technologies.
Experience across some of the following would be highly regarded:

• Lakehouse & Big Data: Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg
• Cloud Data Platforms: Snowflake, Databricks SQL, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse
• Data Engineering: Fivetran, dbt and cloud-native ETL/ELT services
• Programming: Python, Scala, Java and SQL
• Streaming: Apache Kafka, Databricks Structured Streaming and cloud-native streaming platforms
• AI & Machine Learning: Databricks ML, MLflow and cloud-native ML services
• Orchestration: Apache Airflow, Databricks Workflows and dbt
• Containers: Kubernetes and cloud-native container platforms
• Analytics & BI: Power BI, Tableau, Sigma and Databricks SQL Dashboards
• Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

You’ll be comfortable working autonomously, breaking down ambiguous technical problems and communicating architecture decisions clearly to both technical and senior stakeholders.
