Senior Architect – Data Centre / Semiconductor / Life Sciences

Our client is a Engineering and construction company that specializes designing and delivering mega and significant projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Architect for their expanding business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead architectural design development, detailing, specifications and construction-related design coordination for complex EPC projects.
• Review architectural drawings, technical submissions and tender documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, commercial and construction teams on design, cost, schedule and technical matters.
• Ensure architectural designs comply with Singapore building regulations and relevant authority requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings, resolving technical issues and driving timely design decisions.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks and support recovery plans for design, cost or schedule issues.
• Promote sustainable design practices and maintain appropriate design quality and review processes.
• Mentor and guide architectural team members, supporting technical development and team performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Approximately 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in design and construction for complex industrial, high-tech or multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience in data centres, semiconductor facilities, life sciences, cleanrooms or similar technically demanding environments is highly relevant.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, local authority requirements and design implementation.
• Good technical problem-solving, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across project locations islandwide in Singapore.
