Senior Architect (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join our team and contribute to building migration strategies and translating them into scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures. You will engage in a big, insurance project and hands-on implementation of designed architectures and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver modern IT solutions. Your tasks

  • Co-creating and programming changes in the property insurance system

  • Developing migration strategies from monolithic solutions to microservices architecture based on private cloud

  • Managing technical debt and incorporating it into work planning

  • Collaborating on the direction and vision for modern IT solutions

  • Providing insights and guidance to development teams to maintain a consistent direction in delivering business value

  • Supporting teams with consulting in creating solutions

  • Assisting in the development of feasibility analyses and implementation assumptions for IT system development

  • Supporting the design and documentation of system architectures

  • Acquiring and implementing new technologies

  • Participating in the development of standards and supporting compliance with established standards

  • Assisting in initiatives to improve the development process and foster a DevOps culture

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system architecture design and oversight

  • Very good knowledge of Java and Spring

  • Ability to create scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed architectures

  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns and integration practices

  • Experience working with cloud and infrastructure automation

  • Ability to conduct code reviews, mentor, and lead architectural workshops

  • Co-creating technology roadmaps and assessing risks

  • Experience in end-to-end observability

  • Practical knowledge of API governance and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

  • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture

  • Advanced level of English and Polish

  • Openness to work hybridly in Warsaw (at least once a week from the office)

Nice-to-have requirements

  • Previous work with Agentic SDLC

  • Experience in multi-cloud strategies

  • Advanced practical knowledge of DDD

  • Awareness of cloud costs

  • Participation in defining technology standards within the organization
