The Role

We are seeking an experienced architectural professional to lead project teams across design development and project delivery. The role will oversee design coordination, technical execution, client engagement, and team development.

Job Summary

Provide leadership and direction across all phases of architectural design and project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, effective project coordination, and timely execution. Build strong client and consultant relationships while fostering team collaboration and developing the capabilities of junior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee architectural design development and project delivery from initial concept through to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, manage resources, and ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Review, develop, and oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve design and technical issues.
• Oversee statutory submissions and ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, planning requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development support to junior team members, strengthening overall team performance.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication, stakeholder management, and consistent project delivery.

Key Competencies

• Strong architectural design leadership, with a sound understanding of design principles, project requirements, and industry best practices.
• In-depth technical expertise in architectural detailing, statutory regulations, building controls, and contract documentation.
• Proven ability to manage project planning, coordinate design teams, and oversee the timely delivery of technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to lead client-facing discussions.
• Familiarity with digital design technologies, sustainable design practices, and emerging developments within the built environment sector.
• Requirements and Attributes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in architectural design development, project coordination, team leadership, and client management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop professionally, mentor colleagues, and build a high-performing team.
• Experience in mixed-use developments and infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
• Registration with the Board of Architects Singapore (BOA) would be an advantage.
• Additional professional certifications, such as Green Mark Professional (GMP) or Green Mark Facilities Professional (GMFP),would be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modelling(BIM), particularly Revit Architecture.
