The incumbent shall be allocated 3-4 full retainer clients along with 2-3 clients with selected jobs and will be responsible for ensuring the agreed compliances for those clients. He/she shall work closely with 1 accountant and 2 articles on these jobs and a deputy manager/manager shall closely review his/her work. The responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to:


· Ensuring compliances of various clients as per defined role mainly accounting, payroll, tax withholding, GST, corporate tax, RBI etc.

· Timely raising of invoices on client and collection as per defined targets

· Regular visits on client place to give comfort to client on deliverables

· Responding and providing solutions on technical issues to clients on time

· Regular updation of to do management software for the allocated clients and discussion with Deputy manager/Manager

· Timely escalation of any important matter of clients with seniors

· Ensuring systems and processes are being followed for the team

· Building performance score cards at the beginning of each year for yourself and ensuring meeting targets as per score card

· Knowledge dissemination to team members on technical topics through presentations and discussions

· Working knowledge of compliance related areas including accounting, accounting standards, payroll processing, GST, direct taxes (upto filing of tax return), FEMA and RBI regulations and Corporate laws

• Should have analytical thought processes to understand and interpret legal provisions of relevant laws.

• Average communication skills to provide a comfort to clients

• Motivated and ability to provide solutions

• Should have experience of working with both Indian and foreign clients

• Fully conversant with English language – read, write and spoken






Qualification:

• Qualified CA, with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in professional services firm or more than 3-4 years post-qualification experience in industry.

• Expert in accounting issues and accounting standards (including IND AS) as applicable in India.

• Good practical knowledge of tax withholding, payroll processing, direct and indirect tax compliances.

• Basic understanding of labour laws, economic laws, exchange control matters and Companies Act 2013.
