Senior Assistant Manager (Data Science & Analytics)
Summary
Full-stack developer role (hired under a data science & analytics title) building and improving user-facing Generative AI applications for Singapore public healthcare facilities. Daily work spans front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) plus backend development in Python, with REST APIs, relational databases, and cloud/Kubernetes exposure.
About The Role
- Design, develop, and enhance user-facing features of the organisation's Generative AI applications, with a strong focus on improving user experience and usability.
- As a full-stack developer, you will not only work on front-end applications but also troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance backend functionalities.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and technical peers by understanding, prioritizing, and negotiating requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with at least 2 years of experience in developing both client-side and server-side applications.
- Preferred proficiency and practical experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Preferred proficiency in Python for backend application.
- Knowledge and experience in any of the modern web frameworks and technologies such as Node.js, ReactJS, Remix and WebSocket will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with development tools like Git or similar for version control and collaboration.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and database schema design.
- A good understanding of container technology, cloud deployment, experience in Kubernetes will be plus.
- A passion for solving real customer problems through the development of interactive web applications.
