Senior Associate Account Executive, Financial Services
You'll join AlphaSense's Financial Services Sales team as a new business sales professional focused on the Financial Markets segment. You'll own the end-to-end sales process across hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research teams within your territory. Working alongside Sales Development Representatives, you'll research and prospect new relationships through consultative selling, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and manage product trials with Product Specialists to drive successful client adoption. You'll maintain a strong sales pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and act as the voice of the customer to help shape product and go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales process within your territory covering hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research teams
- Partner with Sales Development Representatives to research, prospect, and build new relationships through consultative selling
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations that align client needs with AlphaSense's value propositions
- Manage product trials in collaboration with Product Specialists to ensure successful client adoption and conversion
- Maintain a robust pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting to meet or exceed ambitious sales targets
- Act as the voice of the customer, sharing feedback to help shape product and go-to-market strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into Financial Services
- Business proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable
- Proven track record exceeding quota in a hunter/new logo role
- Experience with value-based, consultative selling
- Comfortable managing demos, trials, and full-cycle sales using modern sales tools and processes
- Understanding of buy- and sell-side workflows, market dynamics, and client pain points
