Senior Associate Accounting
You will manage bookkeeping and daily accounting operations for multiple entities, including funding, cost recharges, invoices, and bank reconciliations. You will support statutory audits, record and reconcile cryptocurrency payments, develop accounting policies, improve processes, and mentor junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and prepare accounting memos
- Manage full-set bookkeeping for standalone entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Handle daily accounting operations, including subsidiary funding and cost recharges
- Prepare and update invoices in the accounting system
- Verify invoices and agreements for validity and authorization
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Manage cryptocurrency accounts payable and reconcile payments with on-chain transactions
- Interpret accounting standards and develop accounting policies and procedures
- Identify process improvements and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Big 4 audit and commercial accounting experience
- QP candidate or CPA
- ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Expensify
- Microsoft Office
- Written and spoken English
