Senior Associate, Business Risk Services
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand accounting principles and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Demonstrate an understanding of risks and internal control objectives of business processes
- Demonstrate a general awareness of general internal audit standards and best practice corporate governance and internal control frameworks, including the Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Conduct interviews and walkthroughs to assess internal control designs and identify design gaps;
- Develop procedures for test of operating effectiveness;
- Conduct test of operating effectiveness;
- Draft findings relating to all areas;
- Discuss and validate findings with process owners or management;
- Engage in reviews with engagement manager/partner;
- Review the work of associates / interns; and
- Support Enterprise Risk Management workshops.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree Qualification
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in professional accounting firms will be preferred
