Roles & Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end release and deployment lifecycle, including change review, planning, implementation, validation, reporting, and post-implementation support. Review and validate Change Requests (CRs) to ensure implementation readiness, scope completeness, technical feasibility, risk assessment, rollback preparedness, and compliance with governance standards. Coordinate with Application Support, Engineering, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, Security, and Platform teams to resolve implementation dependencies and ensure successful change execution. Maintain segregation of duties and ensure deployment activities are performed only by authorized personnel. Conduct technical validations post-deployment and coordinate business validation with application and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation outcomes. Capture and maintain deployment evidence, including execution logs, screenshots, session recordings, implementation reports, and audit artifacts. Provide Level-1 operational support for release and deployment-related incidents, deployment failures, production issues, and recovery activities. Participate in production war rooms, incident bridges, troubleshooting calls, and root cause investigations to restore services and improve operational resilience. Escalate implementation risks, deployment issues, and production-impacting events promptly to Release Managers, SMEs, and leadership teams. Drive continuous improvement through deployment automation, process optimization, CI/CD adoption, runbook standardization, and operational excellence initiatives. Analyze release and change data to identify trends, improve release success rates, reduce deployment risks, and provide actionable recommendations for process enhancement. Maintain deployment procedures, SOPs, knowledge repositories, and support cross-training initiatives to improve team capability, resiliency, and operational readiness.
