Senior Associate-Devops

<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Job purpose </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, securing, and optimizing cloud platforms </span>and software delivery processes, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The role enables efficient and reliable application deployment through CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native technologies, and DevSecOps best practices while ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and operational excellence across enterprise environments. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Key responsibilities </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms primarily on Microsoft </span>Azure. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and industry-standard DevOps tools to </span>support rapid and reliable software delivery. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools </span>such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or equivalent. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Implement and support containerized application deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container </span>Apps, or similar cloud-native platforms. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance checks into CI/CD </span>pipelines following DevSecOps best practices. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams on DevOps, cloud, and platform </span>engineering best practices. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><b><u>Key competencies </u></b></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Collaborate with application development, architecture, and security teams to design and support deployment </span>automation frameworks and release processes. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management solutions to ensure platform reliability </span>and operational excellence. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Support cloud networking, identity and access management, RBAC, API integrations, and enterprise security </span>requirements. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, platform modernization, operational </span>efficiency, and cloud cost optimization. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, MCA, or a related </span>discipline. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, governance, and platform engineering. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design, release management, and deployment </span>automation. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or equivalent). </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, cloud security controls, identity management, Key Vaults, </span>secrets management, and compliance frameworks. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure </span>Container Apps. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability </span>to work across multidisciplinary teams. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using enterprise monitoring </span>platforms. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Strong knowledge of Git-based source control, branching strategies, repository management, and software </span>delivery best practices. </p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">• Ability to troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues in cloud </span>environments. </p>
