Senior Associate / Legal Director

Contribute your ideas and help us continue our success story. We are looking for a Senior Associate / Legal Director (m/f/d) for our Dispute Resolution team at our Düsseldorf office.

Your Tasks

• Handling commercial law disputes in ordinary courts and arbitration proceedings

• Largely independent management of mandates and teams

• Analyzing civil law and civil procedural issues across all areas of commercial law

• Participation in our cross-mandate and cross-firm initiatives and projects, e.g., in the areas of Legal Tech and collective legal protection, within our sectors and Client Relationship Teams

What you bring

• At least five years of relevant professional experience in a demanding and dynamic law firm environment

• A combined score of at least 16 points in both state examinations

• Excellent legal expertise

• Enthusiasm for the continuous professional and technical challenges arising from digitalization, networking, and automation

• A passion for practical and innovative solutions for our national and international clients, combined with a willingness to break new ground and take on responsibility

• Very good written and spoken English skills

• As a Legal Director, you ideally bring an existing network of mandates/contacts as well as demonstrable business development successes and are capable of sustainably expanding your own mandates
