Summary
A senior QA consultant who plans and executes test strategies, builds and maintains automated test frameworks, and performs manual and automated testing of web, mobile, API and backend systems while mentoring junior QA members. Core tools include Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman/REST Assured/SOAPUI and SQL.
- Planning, design, and execution of comprehensive test strategies and test plans for multiple projects/products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, identify risks, and prioritize testing activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, APIs, and backend systems.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features/functionality.
- Analyze test results and report defects/issues accurately and promptly.
- Mentor and coach junior QA team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SOAPUI.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
