About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software products. In this role, you will not only focus on manual testing but also take the lead in analyzing and improving testing processes to make them more efficient and effective.
If you have a knack for spotting gaps, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless user experiences, this role is for you. We want someone who is not just a tester but a problem solver who can proactively suggest improvements to our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing to identify and report bugs effectively.
- Process Improvement: Proactively analyze testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and clear test documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for defects to help improve development and testing practices.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
✔ Proven experience in manual testing for software applications.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
✔ Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.
✔ Ability to identify process gaps and suggest improvements proactively.
✔ Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly and effectively.
✔ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirement traceability is a plus.
