At PwC, our Tax & Legal Services teams provide clients with strategic advice on tax planning, compliance, and regulatory matters. We support organisations in navigating complex tax and legal frameworks while optimising their tax positions. As new tax regimes continue to emerge across the Middle East, this area is becoming increasingly important for businesses, with significant implications for operations and overall profitability.
TLS business unit overview
Clients & Markets within TLS are responsible for shaping and driving the firm’s growth agenda across the region. Working closely with business unit stakeholders and specialist teams, Clients & Markets plays a critical role in originating and supporting key client opportunities to shape compelling value propositions, and bring the right capabilities together to deliver measurable outcomes for our clients.
How you’ll contribute
As a Senior Associate - Clients and Markets, you will be proactive and assist the team in implementing the firm’s strategy that focuses on key clients, industries, and markets. Working alongside the broader Clients & Markets team, you will collaborate with our partners and their teams in tracking the performance and progress of the business across markets to achieve the firm's objectives.
- Work with the Clients & Markets function to deliver infrastructure such as financial performance analysis, industry and client analysis, market share and competitor SWOT analysis and thought leadership to develop an account management plan.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different teams within our Clients & Markets team to bring our clients high value solutions.
- Work closely with the partners and directors in developing account strategy and support them in driving the account management activities.
- Prepare various executive level presentations such as account plans, industry/sector summaries.
- Prepare performance summaries for accounts and industries using revenue, opportunity, backlog data on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Support the teams in developing client, industry and country profiles using various research tools, databases and online research.
- Track the latest regulatory changes and market trends that impact our clients from a tax and legal perspective and support the engagement teams in developing a go-to-market strategy.
- Participate and drive various meetings/calls related to priority accounts, industries and countries.
- Support lead partners, industry leaders in monitoring the performance of their respective areas on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel sheets.
- Manage various initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team such as client workshops, webinars, seminars, external and internal events.
What you’ll bring
- You will be a highly motivated and high performing individual with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Excellent organisational, time management, quality management, and project management skills with the ability to prioritise workload, work with senior stakeholders and perform under pressure.
- Technical knowledge and experience in evaluating tender responses are advantageous.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Years of experience: 4+ years in business development.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
- Previous experience in strategy consulting or management consulting is a plus.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is an advantage.
