About the Role
The Baron Capital Thought Leadership and Product Content, Senior Associate, supports the development and execution of high impact thought leadership content, product content, sales support material and communications. Reporting to the Thought Leadership and Product Content Strategist, Director, this is a key role in assisting with content creation, product positioning, researching market and investment trends, and helping to ensure the accuracy and quality of all materials.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic voice of a leading asset manager and work alongside experienced investment professionals and content creators. This role is part of a Marketing team dedicated to producing insightful content that educates, informs, and inspires our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with investment professionals, portfolio risk and analytics team, and the marketing team to capture key insights and ensure alignment with Baron Capital’s investment philosophy
- Assist in drafting and editing a variety of thought leadership materials, including Baron white papers, articles and product or investment-related material for internal or external use
- Conduct in-depth research on market and sector developments, investment themes, product performance, and portfolio company fundamentals to support ideation and content creation
- Gather and synthesize data from internal and external sources to support content narratives
- Maintain an editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content
- Track industry trends and competitor content to inform strategy and identify opportunities
- Perform factchecking, formatting, and proofreading to maintain content accuracy and consistency across content including sales and marketing content and communications
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics or writing-related (journalism, English/history) field
- 5 years of experience in financial writing, investment research, or asset management communications
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to translate complex financial and market data into clear, concise language
- Interest in growth equity investing and financial markets
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

The base salary range for this position is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. It is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. It also participates in the Firm's 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plan. The Firm's comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, along with short and long-term disability insurance coverage.
