Position Overview
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will join our QA team to contribute to the development of a biometric-based identity verification solution. This product helps organizations securely verify user identities through modern authentication and authorization technologies, ensuring seamless and secure access to digital services.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks for web applications, ensuring product quality, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and other QA engineers to improve testing processes, identify risks early, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.
We are looking for a proactive and self-driven professional who can work independently, investigate issues, challenge existing approaches, and propose meaningful software improvements. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

The platform supports enterprise-grade authentication workflows and integrates with various third-party identity providers and authorization systems. The product operates in a cloud-native environment and follows a microservices architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.

Your Background
5+ years of commercial experience in web automation testing using JavaScript or TypeScript
3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycle
Experience with REST API testing using Postman
Solid understanding of client-server architecture
Experience with Git version control systems
Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
English level: Intermediate+ (B2) or higher
Skills That Will Be a Plus
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect)
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
Experience with mobile test automation using Appium
Previous experience with authentication or identity verification solutions
Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications
Create and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, and Appium
Analyze product requirements and manual test cases and transform them into comprehensive automated test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Execute API testing and validate backend integrations
Manage and maintain QA environments and automated testing infrastructure
Ensure proper test coverage and continuous quality validation throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues
Contribute to process improvements and promote QA best practices across the team
Continuously learn new technologies and testing approaches to improve product quality and team efficiency
