Responsibilities
- Own quality assurance across core blockchain infrastructure and product applications, covering network and RPC functionality, web applications, APIs, wallet interactions, smart contracts, and on-chain transactions.
- Design and execute test strategies for both protocol-level and application-level scenarios, including functional, integration, E2E, regression, and compatibility testing.
- Identify risks in complex transaction and asset flows, including state transitions, data consistency, failure recovery, and edge cases across on-chain and off-chain systems.
- Build and maintain automated testing for APIs, web/E2E flows, RPC interfaces, and on-chain scenarios.
- Investigate issues across blockchain nodes, RPC, smart contracts, frontend/backend services, and third-party integrations, driving them through to resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with API and Web/E2E automation, including the ability to independently build test tools and automation scripts.
- Deep understanding of core blockchain fundamentals, including transactions, block architecture, RPC nodes, wallets, cryptographic signing, and smart contracts.
- Strong test design and debugging skills with experience analyzing complex distributed or transaction-based systems.
- High degree of ownership and the ability to independently drive product quality from initial requirements through production release.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience testing blockchain infrastructure, L1/L2 networks, or EVM-compatible ecosystems.
- Exposure to DeFi protocols, DEXs, cross-chain bridges, Web3 wallets, or financial trading applications.
- Familiarity with development and testing tools such as Foundry, Hardhat, viem, ethers.js, or Web3.py.
- Background in constructing automation frameworks, running performance/stability testing, or integrating quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
