Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer Location: Perth
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python, Robot Framework and Selenium for web applications and microservices.Develop and execute functional, integration, performance, reliability, scalability and load testing across complex technology platforms.Validate microservices, Docker-based applications and Linux environments, ensuring system quality and reliability.Perform testing and validation of robotics and field communication systems, including ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus and DDS protocols.Manage end-to-end STLC activities, defect tracking, test documentation and collaboration with development and engineering teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
8+ years of dedicated Automation Testing experience and 12+ years of technology verification and validation experience.Expert-level Python scripting with strong analytical knowledge of C/C++, along with advanced Robot Framework and Selenium expertise.Strong understanding of Docker, microservices, Linux, ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus and DDS middleware.Proficiency with Git/GitLab, Jira and Confluence for source control, task management and technical documentation.Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch with minimal guidance, ideally within mining, autonomous haulage or safety-critical engineering environments.
