Senior Automation Test Engineer - Playwright/Performance Testing

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on building robust UI automation frameworks with Playwright and conducting performance testing across applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Create and execute smoke, regression, sanity, and functional automation tests.

- Design and run performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.

- Develop performance scripts with JMeter or similar tools and analyze results.

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.

- Maintain reusable and scalable automation scripts.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in software testing - automation.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright.

- Extensive experience in performance testing using JMeter or equivalent.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python and API testing.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have :

- Familiarity with Selenium and Page Object Model design.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
