About you

You can already deliver working automation in real delivery teams, and you're ready to grow your consulting craft, engineering depth, and confidence with AI-assisted approaches - supported by frameworks, coaching, and a community of experts.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain sustainable automated tests and supporting artifacts across API, services, UI and data layers - selecting the right layer for the risk.
  
• Engineer automation that fits modern delivery: CI/CD, reliable pipelines fast feedback.
  
• Apply AI responsibly to enhance test design, analysis, maintenance and orchestration.
  
• Contribute to or leverage frameworks, starter kits, accelerators and patterns to delivery consistent outcomes
  
• Work closely with team members on your client site to improve confidence and release safety.
  
• Engage with the automation practice at Planit to learn and grow, and to help others around you do the same.
  

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with open-source test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Webdriver.io...). You can set up your development environment from scratch without help, understanding your IDE and your SCM.
  
• Experience designing and integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Octopus, GitHub, etc.)
  
• Solid experience building automation frameworks (not just using existing tools)
  
• Experience working across enterprise SaaS / web-based platforms
  
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  
• Great stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  
• A quality engineering mindset: you care about risk, coverage, observability and maintainability.
  
• Curiosity about AI-assisted testing (prompting, test design support, analytics) and a responsible approach to using it.
  
• Consulting behaviours: clear communication, collaboration, and the ability to understand client context and constraints.
