Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are hiring a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to drive high-quality automation and shared accountability within a quality-focused delivery culture. You will implement and maintain Playwright-based UI checks, automate web service/API validation, and influence automation feasibility during design. Responsibilities

• Build scalable automated testing structures that balance engineering needs with business expectations
• Coordinate with delivery teams to maintain quality standards and help keep completion dates predictable
• Advise in system design discussions on automation feasibility and validation priorities
• Conduct peer reviews of test code and give clear feedback that raises reliability and technical consistency
• Investigate failures and instability in automated tests and implement lasting fixes to underlying causes
• Guide less experienced colleagues through mentoring and hands-on knowledge sharing
• Participate in planning discussions to define testing deliverables, assess effort, and support realistic scheduling
• Apply advancements in quality engineering to improve daily automation activities
• Keep thorough records of test methods and important technical decisions to support continuity
• Engage stakeholders to define delivery goals and verify completed work against agreed standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an automation testing, QA, or similar position
• Strong ability to use JavaScript to build, update, and maintain automated testing code
• Direct experience with Playwright or similar JS UI automation technologies for validating web interface behavior
• Solid understanding of automating web service and API tests to verify backend stability and expected responses
• Comfort with version control platforms to manage shared test assets and record code changes
• Detailed knowledge of automation framework architecture to build test solutions that evolve over time
• Demonstrated experience with JavaScript BDD frameworks for behavior-based validation scenarios
• Working familiarity with AI tools and concepts that can strengthen quality practices
• English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, written and verbal
