Senior Automation Tester in JS

We're expanding our engineering group and looking to bring on a Senior Automation Tester in JS. Responsibilities

• Map out and put into practice testing frameworks that align with project timeframes and critical delivery goals
• Spot, register, and track defects from the moment they're discovered through to full closure, teaming up closely with the development side
• Break apart product requirements and technical documentation to define suitable testing breadth and precision
• Build and preserve durable, adaptable testing configurations that can evolve alongside shifting project needs
• Translate test data into concise, meaningful reports distributed to appropriate stakeholders
• Take part in sprint planning and estimation discussions, keeping quality at the forefront at all times
• Continuously review and sharpen existing testing methods to increase speed and expand overall coverage
• Coordinate with teams across various functions to keep quality standards uniform throughout the development pipeline
• Analyze production incidents to trace root causes and recommend solutions that guard against repeat problems
• Contribute to junior colleagues' growth by sharing real-world knowledge and offering ongoing mentorship

Requirements

• More than three years of hands-on, relevant experience specializing in JS test automation
• Exceptional skill with JavaScript and TypeScript for building and maintaining automated test scripts
• Strong background applying Playwright to coordinate and execute automated testing cycles
• Exposure to JS-centered tools specifically designed for automating web UI test workflows
• Experience building automated test coverage spanning both web services and API endpoints
• Competent in using version control systems to track and document code adjustments
• Deep understanding of the structural and design foundations behind test automation frameworks
• Applied experience building out and configuring BDD frameworks in JavaScript-based settings
• Strong communication capabilities paired with working English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting reliable translation of business requirements into technical results
